Group trips

A group trip keeps the applications of everyone travelling together in one place: one destination and one set of dates, with an application for each traveler. Answers that are the same for the whole family, such as the home address, are filled in once and copied to the others.

Create a trip

1. Press New Application and choose Group Trip.
2. Give the trip a name, pick the destination and the travel dates.
3. Under Who needs a visa application? press Add Traveler, then Add Another Traveler for each further person: their name and how they are related to you (Self, Spouse, Child and so on). The window says how many applications it will create.
4. Press Create Trip (3 applications), with your number of travelers (Create Empty Trip with none). The trip page opens, and the trip appears under Group Trips in the sidebar.

You can also create an empty trip and add travelers later with Add Traveler on the trip page, or bring in an application you already started with Connect Application.

Copy shared answers to everyone

1. Open one traveler's application from Trip Applications and fill in the answers the others share, for example the home address and the emergency contact.
2. Back on the trip page, under Shared Trip Data, choose whose answers to copy (Copy data from) and who receives them (Apply to: all travelers or one).
3. Choose the sections to copy. Those marked Recommended are ticked already; untick any that should stay as each traveler has it, and tick others. A traveler's own passport details, security answers and declarations are never overwritten: the copy fills them only where they are still empty.
4. Press Apply to All (Apply when one traveler is chosen). A review opens: each answer is marked NEW (fills an empty answer), UPDATED (replaces a different one) or CLEARED (empties it). Untick anything that should stay as it is, then press Apply.

Trip Assistant

Mira also works for the whole trip: on the trip page she can copy the travel dates to everyone, check all the applications at once or add a family member. Ask her in the trip's chat.
