Which Saudi Visa do you need?

Tourist visa via Tasheer or an embassy

Apply on ksavisa.sa, then go to a Tasheer visa centre or, where there is none, the Saudi embassy in your country of residence. The visa fee is $80 plus service fees and insurance. A multiple-entry visa is valid for 1 year with stays of up to 90 days.

eVisa with a US, UK or Schengen visa

Holders of a used US, UK or Schengen tourist or business visa, and permanent residents of the US, UK or EU, can get an eVisa online for SAR 339.44 plus insurance, or a visa on arrival for SAR 395 with insurance included.

Package visa

An instant single-entry tourist eVisa sold with a package from an approved travel agency: a hotel of 4 stars or more and return flights. It costs SAR 402.21 with insurance and is valid for 3 months from the travel start. Packages start at SAR 4,000 per adult for 2 days.

Free stopover visa

Do Pakistani citizens need a visa for Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Pakistani citizens need a visa before travelling to Saudi Arabia. The standard route is a visit visa: you apply on the KSA Visa platform (ksavisa.sa), then submit your passport at a Tasheer visa office where one operates, or otherwise at the Saudi embassy or consulate where you live. Pakistani citizens can also get a Package Visa by buying an approved travel package, and holders of a valid US, UK or Schengen visa or of US, UK or EU permanent residence can use the eVisa or the visa on arrival; GCC residents can use the eVisa.

How much does a Saudi visit visa cost?

Saudi Arabia does not publish one total for the embassy route. The KSA Visa platform lists the tourism visa with an $80 visa fee, a $10.5 visa digital services fee and a $10.5 insurance digital services fee, and medical insurance is priced by the provider you select; Visit Saudi confirms that insurance is not included. How long does it take, and how long can I stay?

No processing time is published for the embassy or Tasheer route, so apply well before your trip. The visa allows stays of up to 90 days. A multiple-entry visa is valid for 1 year from the date of issue, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decides whether you receive single or multiple entry. If you qualify for the eVisa with a US, UK or Schengen visa or a residence permit, the KSA Visa platform gives a processing time of 1 minute to 3 business days.

Can Pakistani citizens get a Saudi Package Visa?

Yes. Pakistani passport holders are in the pilot group that can get a single-entry tourist eVisa by buying an integrated travel package from a provider approved by the Ministry of Tourism, listed at visitsaudi.com/en/campaigns/package-visa. The package must include a licensed hotel of 4 stars or more and a round-trip flight, cost at least SAR 4,000 per adult for the first two days plus SAR 1,000 per extra day, and be bought at least 48 hours before departure. The visa costs SAR 402.21 with insurance, is issued within 48 hours and is valid 3 months from the travel start date.

Can I get a Saudi eVisa with a US, UK or Schengen visa?

Yes, if you hold a valid US, UK or Schengen tourist or business visa that you have already used to enter the issuing country, with its entry stamp in your passport; digital entry stamps are not accepted. A permanent residence permit of the US, the UK or an EU country also qualifies. These holders can apply for the eVisa on ksavisa.sa, listed by Visit Saudi at SAR 339.44 without insurance, or get a visa on arrival for SAR 395 with insurance. A GCC residence permit valid at least 3 months beyond entry qualifies for the eVisa only.
