Which Saudi Visa do you need?

Tourist visa via Tasheer or an embassy

Apply on ksavisa.sa, then go to a Tasheer visa centre or, where there is none, the Saudi embassy in your country of residence. The visa fee is $80 plus service fees and insurance. A multiple-entry visa is valid for 1 year with stays of up to 90 days.

eVisa with a US, UK or Schengen visa

Holders of a used US, UK or Schengen tourist or business visa, and permanent residents of the US, UK or EU, can get an eVisa online for SAR 339.44 plus insurance, or a visa on arrival for SAR 395 with insurance included.

eVisa for GCC residents

Residents of a GCC country can apply online for the tourist eVisa. First-degree family members can be added from the same account after the first application.

Do Brazilian citizens need a visa for Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Brazilian citizens need a visit visa before travelling to Saudi Arabia. Brazil is not among the eVisa countries on Visit Saudi, the eVisa portal or the KSA Visa platform, although an older, undated version of the eVisa terms still names it. You apply on ksavisa.sa and then submit your passport at a Tasheer visa office where one operates, or otherwise at the Saudi embassy or consulate where you live. With a valid US, UK or Schengen visa already used for entry, or US, UK or EU permanent residence, you can use the eVisa or the visa on arrival instead.

How much does a Saudi visit visa cost?

Saudi Arabia does not publish one total for the embassy route. The KSA Visa platform lists the tourism visa with an $80 visa fee, a $10.5 visa digital services fee and a $10.5 insurance digital services fee, and medical insurance is priced by the provider you select; Visit Saudi confirms that insurance is not included. How long does it take, and how long can I stay?

No processing time is published for the embassy or Tasheer route, so apply well before your trip. The visa allows stays of up to 90 days. A multiple-entry visa is valid for 1 year from the date of issue, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decides whether you receive single or multiple entry. If you qualify for the eVisa with a US, UK or Schengen visa or a residence permit, the KSA Visa platform gives a processing time of 1 minute to 3 business days.

What documents do Brazilian citizens need for a Saudi visit visa?

Visit Saudi lists proof of residence in the country where you apply, a return ticket, proof of employment, a bank statement or other proof of financial solvency, your flight itinerary, identification and the address where you will stay in Saudi Arabia. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry. Travellers under 18 may enter only with a parent, grandparent or adult sibling aged over 18.

Can I get a Saudi eVisa with a US, UK or Schengen visa?

Yes, if you hold a valid US, UK or Schengen tourist or business visa that you have already used to enter the issuing country, with its entry stamp in your passport; digital entry stamps are not accepted. A permanent residence permit of the US, the UK or an EU country also qualifies. These holders can apply for the eVisa on ksavisa.sa, listed by Visit Saudi at SAR 339.44 without insurance, or get a visa on arrival for SAR 395 with insurance. A GCC residence permit valid at least 3 months beyond entry qualifies for the eVisa only.
