Step 5: Pay Application Fees

The processing fee is USD 23 per visa application. For applications through local contacts in Singapore, a non-refundable processing visa fee of SGD 30 will be charged. Complete fee payment using accepted methods including credit cards, money orders, or cashier's checks at designated centers. The fee collected is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application.

Step 6: Track and Await Processing

The processing time for visa applications is three to eight business days from the date of receipt of the complete application, though some applications may take longer. There is no expedited service. You may check on the status of your e-Visa via the Enquire Application Status function on ICA's e-Service, using your visa application reference number and your travel document number.

Step 7: Collect Visa Decision and Prepare for Entry

Receive notification regarding application outcome. If your application is approved, your local contact in Singapore can use the SAVE system to print a copy of your e-Visa for you. You are strongly encouraged to print out and bring along your e-Visa when travelling to Singapore, to minimise inconveniences with the airlines and immigration authorities.

Upon entry, travelers are required to present biometrics: fingerprints, facial recognition, and iris scans. Non-compliance may result in denied entry. Beginning January 30, 2026, Singapore's ICA will implement the Non-Boarding Directive system, forcing airlines to verify passenger eligibility before takeoff.
